02 Dec Upper Arch Restoration with PFZ crowns and some feldspathic…as usual vertical preparations…included a short follow up.
Performed by: Dr Marco Maiolino
Abstract: We present a case of a patient asking for aesthetic treatment of his upper arch, 4 old PFM crowns were on the anterior teeth. In the past teeth, 1.5 2.5 2.6 were extracted and not replaced causing the movement of the other teeth and the creation of incorrect prosthetic spaces. The same happened on teeth 3.6 and 4.6.
The proposed solution was an orthodontic treatment to establish correct spaces but the patient refused it.
We decided to do a bridge between 2.4 (tooth endodontically treated with old crown ) and 2.7 to manage better space, on upper right instead we decided to keep the space (other choices were orthodontics or another bridge )
