Graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. Practice restorative and preventive dentistry until 1999. In 2001, he received his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics, and a Masters of Science degree in 2003 from Loma Linda University, School of Dental Medicine under Dr Mahmoud Torabinejad.

He has been involved in organized dentistry and has presented at the local, state, national and international level since graduating from dental school. He is currently the District VII Director for the American Association of Endodontics and is a PT faculty at LLUSD, Department of Graduate Endodontics.

Dr Odabashian is in private practice limited to microscope-aided conservative restorative endodontics. He is married to Lilit and has three children, Galia, 14; Serge, 11; and Noah, 9. Dr Odabshian enjoys the game of bridge on a weekly basis, it being one of his other passions.
